The Pelee Island Browns Backers are proud to be Canada’s southernmost Dawg Pound. Officially recognized by Browns Backers Worldwide in 2025, our chapter brings together fans from both sides of the border — locals, seasonal visitors, and lifelong Browns diehards — to celebrate football, friendship, and island life.
We’re more than a fan club. We’re a community where every game day feels like home, and every cheer echoes across Lake Erie.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: unite Browns fans and give back to the island we love.
We do this by:
- Hosting watch parties at The Dog & Goat Restaurant
- Building community through raffles, fundraisers, and charity events
- Creating a welcoming space where every Browns fan — local or visiting — feels part of the family
Chapter History
From Island Fans to an Official Chapter
It all started with a few Browns fans on Pelee Island who wanted a place to gather, watch games, and bring some Cleveland energy to Canada’s most southern point. What began as casual meet-ups has grown into an official chapter of Browns Backers Worldwide — proof that the Dawg Pound has no borders.

Behind the Pelee Island Browns Backers is a group of volunteers dedicated to keeping the Dawg Pound spirit alive on the island. From organizing game day events to coordinating fundraisers, our leadership team works hard to make sure every member has a reason to cheer.
